Strategic cooperation
A cooperation architecture serving applied multilateralism.
GIMHRF develops its programmes through strategic cooperation open to public institutions, international organisations, universities, research centres, NGOs, civil society actors, faith-based institutions, foundations, local authorities and States wishing to strengthen their capacity for action in the fields of multilateralism, human rights, peace, governance and international leadership.
Our programmes are designed as flexible, adaptable and modular executive frameworks, capable of responding to the institutional, geopolitical, cultural and operational realities of each partner. This adaptability allows us to build tailor-made pathways articulated around the strategic priorities, sectoral needs and territorial stakes of partner institutions.
GIMHRF acts as a connecting platform between the international frameworks of multilateral Geneva and the field actors engaged in transforming contemporary societies. From this perspective, our partnerships are not limited to academic or event-based logics; they aim to produce concrete, lasting and directly operational institutional effects.
Partner institutions can therefore
- co-deploy executive and immersive programmes;
- host capacity-building sessions;
- develop accredited training tailored to their needs;
- benefit from privileged access to leading international experts;
- strengthen their understanding of UN and multilateral mechanisms;
- design strategies for governance, mediation, dialogue and diplomacy;
- develop international projects in Geneva and in other regional and international spaces.
A mobilisable network of experts
To this end, GIMHRF mobilises an international network of senior experts: former United Nations officials, diplomats, jurists, researchers and practitioners engaged in global governance, normative diplomacy, conflict prevention and social cohesion.
Thanks to its anchorage at the heart of International Geneva, the Institute also offers its partners the possibility to embed their initiatives in strategic spaces of international dialogue, diplomatic immersion and interaction with contemporary multilateral mechanisms.
Strategic capacity-strengthening
This approach allows GIMHRF partners to move beyond a logic of mere awareness-raising and access a genuine strategic upskilling, oriented towards:
- normative production;
- values-based multilateral diplomacy;
- international leadership;
- the prevention of tensions;
- inclusive governance;
- interfaith and inter-belief dialogue;
- the design of public policies aligned with contemporary international standards.
GIMHRF advances a demanding vision of partnership: building, with each associated institution, cooperation frameworks of high added value capable of producing tangible impacts in institutional, diplomatic, academic and societal spaces, both in Geneva and on the international stage.
